Thankful

My new closet (compliments of Closets & More) went up yesterday and I am so grateful and thankful! I think I was a smiley, goofy kid all day yesterday. It's hard to believe it's been 6 months since I started my treatments. Today is the very first Wednesday that I don't have treatment. Yesterday was really a absolutely perfect day. So the closet installer came out at 10 and it took him a speedy 2 hours to get the closet up. Then I spent from noon to 2pm patching the closet wall and painting. The guy was really nice and since our closet was on the smaller size, he had a hard time getting in some of the pieces so the wall got dinged up. No big deal because I am handy when it comes to spackle and paint.

Then I spent time putting everything in the closet and making it beautiful. I'm mildly obsessive when it comes to organization so I wanted everything color-coded.

After that, it was almost 5 so I waited and the husband came home. He said the closet looks like a department store. We got dinner with friends and played trivia! We won a round which is exciting and makes me feel smart and I got to drink a tall Bud Light. It was a perfect day. Nothing could have ruined it for me. For all of that, I feel thankful.

Looks like today is going to be a 2-post day. So this afternoon, I'll fill you in on why I'm SO excited for today!!
