Another Tuesday Means Another Wednesday

I'm not sure what to say for today. I was thinking today that by the time this whole thing is over I will have had my blood drawn at least 42 times and my port accessed at least 40 times. That's 82 times too many to be poked by a needle.

Luckily the guy who draws my blood and I have a good relationship. I always learn and then promptly forget his name. Seriously he makes the 40-something times I'll have my blood drawn much easier. He has 2 kids under the age of 2. I like that he remembers whatever I talked to him about the prior week. If I was having a bad week, he'll ask me if the current week was any better. It's the little things that seem to make every week pass by with ease.

My other favorite people are all at Cincinnati Children's Hospital's Main Campus. My blood lab technician is at the Liberty Campus. When I check-in for the day on Wednesday, there are 3 ladies who are so sweet and hilarious! They make me giggle. Again, they remember things about me and they ask about both me and my husband. They checkout my shoes, look at my new purse, looks at pictures of things I've sew around the house and generally just make checking in less stressful. Got to love people who go out of their way to make your day.
