Well, it seems that I'm coming to a cross-road. I can stay with my current set of doctors or go get a second opinion from another doctor or doctors. I decided upon the second opinion route but it's hard to know how to do it "right". I mean, this is a big deal and I only get one shot to make the correct decision. I'm going to get 3 second opinions. One from the Anderson Cancer Center, another from Sloan-Kettering and a third from the eCleveland clinic. I'm hoping that someone will see something or know of something that will be revolutionary and change the outcome. It really is a hairy situation.
Speaking of hair, I've been rapidly losing my. I think I mentioned before the
methotrexate & vinblastine were making me lose it. I'm attaching a picture of what fell out this morning. This is just the post-shower brushing my hair. When I blow-dry my hair I lose another large chuck, more in the shower and then more all throughout the day. At least I had lots to begin with!
