I started chemo last week and it make me sick. Then I found red streaks up and down my arm the day after which apparently happened because my veins were inflamed from the drugs. So after fixing the stomach and fixing the veins, I had a headache. Not how I had hoped chemo would be after treatment#1. Life goes on and by Saturday morning I was feeling back up to actually eating and living like a person again.
I worked too hard on Monday (which my husband yelled at me for). I love that he keeps me in check because I would push myself to exhaustion if I could.
I also started Pau D'Arco tea at night to hopefully help reduce the size of the tumor. The tea makes going to the bathroom in the morning awful so I might be switching to capsules. So today after a mediocre-health week I went to get blood. The doctor said chemo in the morning will go faster if I give blood the day before. They patched me up but I must say I have never bleed so much from giving blood. Gross. Hoping tomorrow will be a better and exciting day.
