A friend of mine from college posted this video to his Facebook page. I hadn't talked to this friend in more than a year but after watching the video, I'm starting to think twice about what I eat. Now I'm a normal healthy person. Prior to the desmoid (round #3) I was training for the Flying Pig half marathon with my husband. I'm within what's considered a normal BMI since I eat low-calorie and low-fat food. I have my vices but I'm skinny. So I keep wondering why me? I watched the video and started to think that maybe I can kill the cancer by eating better. Why strive for good when I can be better. So every morning this week I am drinking a smoothie filled with antiangiogenic food such as pineapple and strawberries. I love red wine (maybe a little too much as it's one of my vices) and garlic. Bring it on desmoid. I'm taking you down.
