It's been about a year since I was in Philadelphia for the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation (DTRF) annual symposium. It's been a crazy year for me. I never knew that the information I got while I was there would shape 2012 for me. If you can believe it, it's been 8 months since I started my most recent chemo treatment. At times, I think it's almost become a way of life for me now. When I'm done (and have beat this thing for good!) I will have been on chemo for 24 of the last 32 months.
I'm probably going to the symposium again this year and I'd like your support to help me raise money for the DTRF. The DTRF has really helped me the past 6 years. So, I'd like to ask everyone to please do me a favor - please donate to the DTRF. My goal is to raise $5,000 this year for the DTRF. I included a long bio in the link about me and my tumor in the link below. You can click below to donate as well.

I started the donations off by donating $250 of my own money. That would be the equilivent cost of three chemotheraphy pills I take every day (each pill costs $80 a piece!). Luckily for me it is covered by insurance. Please do what you can and send this link to others to help raise awareness and money for the DTRF. Any big or small donation helps.
