Another Month In

Well, it's been about a month since I've lasted posted so I figured it's time for an update. I finished 11 of my 39 treatments last week which means I am more than 25% finished with my treatments. Since I'm limited in my alcohol consumption I couldn't go out and celebrate in style. I'll be glad when everything is finished and have a big bash at my house.

In other good news, I haven't gone back to the ER since my last trip (hurray). It seems that things are starting to become more routine. I developed a fibrin sheatlh (aka tail) on the end of my port. So last week I spent 14 hours in the hospital getting my treatment. I guess they don't happen that often but this is my second. Since it was rare they made me do a fluoroscopic x-ray. It was cool to see them access my port and fill it with dye. It's not leaking which is good.

So good news all around! And since things are getting better and better I went back to work.

Only downsides are 1) being 20-something and not drinking sucks 2) I'm tired all the time. Aside from that, I'm just excited that things are going better. I get my first MRI to see if this is working in ONE WEEK. Wish me luck.
