Hello!
Today is my very first blog post and (as you'll soon find out), today is another fun-filled day with everyday normal drama. I got up this morning at 5:45 which is just ridiculous because I had 2 back to back doctor's appointments.
Doctor Appointment #1: I have these lovely red blistery rashes on my hands. My hubbie thought they were some kind of skin allergy. I go into the doctor and **voila** I have severe eczema. Mostly I've been washing my hands too much so I don't get the flu. Turns out washing my hands is bad. The doctor gave me the CeraVe so I can still wash my hands but only "when necessary". Anyone else have eczema who has tried CeraVe? I've tried Aquaphor but I'm allergic. Ouch.
So then off to appt #2
Doctor Appointment #2: I'm in physical therapy because I had a golf ball sized tumor removed from my arm. In the process of taking out my desmoid tumor they removed a large chunk of my arm. So I'm relearning to use it properly. I've had 2 operations, internal and external radiation. Did I mention I'm only 27 years old? My body hates me. The good news is that I'm getting stronger with the muscles that are still left. The desmoid tumor is so rare and this time I believe it's gone for good. I have my MRI on Monday so I'll know pretty soon.
This is just a normal day in my life. Then off to work for 9 hours and home to make dinner. I'm just exhausted!!
